Eat right for your blood type - The Blood Type Diet

Today we are talking about the Blood Type Diet. Actually, four diets for four Blood Types. The author is Peter D'Adamo and he seems to reveal the connection between blood type, diet, and health. If you know your blood type (most of us do), then all you have to do is to open your blood type chart and see what you can eat, what you can't and all in between. There's also 30-day meal plans and more than 200 recipes for every type.

  • Pinpoint which foods are best for you based on your genetic makeup
  • Maintain optimal health & ideal weight
  • Slow the aging process
  • Increase energy
  • Improve chronic problems such as asthma, head-ache & heartburn
  • Feel right in your body, your mind & your world

Peter D'Adamo: Noted naturopathic physician, researcher, lecturer and New York Times best-selling author of Eat Right 4 Your Type, Dr. Peter D'Adamo spent 20 years researching the connections among blood type, food and disease (a concept his father, Dr. James D'Adamo, studied for 40 years). Peter D'Adamo was named 1990 Physician of the Year by the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and Preventive Care Update named him Clinician of the Month in February 1991. He is also the founder and editor emeritus of The Journal of Naturopathic Medicine.

Since all people are different, they should not eat the same foods. Based on Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo's best-selling book, Eat Right 4 Your Type, the Blood Type Diet offers four individual plans based on your biological profile and blood type. D'Adamo's research shows evolution of the four blood types was triggered by environmental changes in climate and available food sources. Man's digestive tract and immune system adjusted to these changes, resulting in new blood types. Your blood type reflects your internal chemistry and determines how your body processes and absorbs different foods.
